We are currently living in uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During times like this our faith can be challenged; and it can be difficult to hold onto our faith when everything seems to be upside down, especially our finances. Due to the lockdown measure put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in person church services has been suspended Since March 2020. For the first time since our church started members of Higherland International Ministries were faced with no in person Easter Service for 2 years in a row (April 2020 and April 2021).

Faced with these difficult times that were brought on by this pandemic, we did the best with what God provided for us. Even though we have been unable to meet face to face; however, the Lord provided a way for us to continue to assemble ourselves through online services. Since the inception of the online services, church members and numerous people from New York, Alabama, Georgia, California, Maryland, and numerous cities throughout Florida have become a part of our Sunday morning online service each Sunday. I commend each one of you and pray God’s blessings over all of you for your support during this difficult time. We thank God for all the support we have received from all the church members, family members and friends. May God continue to bless and keep you during these tough times.

Higherland International Ministries anticipates reopening in person church during the first week of June 2021. It should be noted that the online access to church services will continue to accommodate the out of area members and supporters of the ministry.
Remember Jesus said “I will never leave you neither will I forsake you.” The Lord also said in 2Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. So let us continue to seek the Lord in prayer.
Let us all pray one for another. With all that we see going on in the world we see that we need each other. This is where the bible talks about “Love” being the greatest of all. Let us love and care for one another. Let us follow Jesus’ example:

  • Love one another
  • Keep the peace whenever possible
  • Hold onto your faith
  • Pray without ceasing
  • In all things give thanks
